The indian education minister Mr. Kapil Sibal has introduced a new touch screen computer for the students. As the government policy to improve the quality of education in the country, this 1500/- only laptop may serve the needs of many students.
This device looks quite similar to the Apple iPad and is a linux based machine.The features include: a Web browser, multimedia player, PDF reader, Wi-Fi, and video conferencing ability. It has 2GB of RAM (but no hard disk).The device will be available in the next year.
