Blackberry Banned In Saudi Arabia

           In the new development, Saudi Arabia is the latest country to put a ban on the services offered by Blackberry Smart phones.The state owned Saudi Telecom has blocked text messaging, e-mail, web surfing and instant messaging functions from the phone.

         The main reason stated before all proceedings is told to be the difficulty in decrypting the data that passes between the phone and the network. It proves difficult to decrypt the data even by the RIM(Research In Motion) itself. Such problem poses difficulty in fighting against terrorism amd criminal activities.

         In many countries including INDIA this has already been pointed out and so some advanced features have already been blocked in these countries.
